“Even when we are quite alone, how often do we think with pleasure or pain of what others think of us — of their imagined approbation or disapprobation; and this all follows from sympathy, a fundamental element of the social instincts. A man who possessed no trace of such instincts would be an unnatural monster.”
— Charles Darwin, The Descent of Man (1871)
I’m back. And so, too, is school. With my last year of school now starting, I have decided to get ahead of the curve by making my timetable early and strictly adhering to the schedule to make the most of the time I have available. Why should I schedule my days? It helps me to beneficially appropriate my hours to achieve both my short and long term goals. This will be a fulfilling semester.
